Antonio is a Jamaican native, who is now living in the beautiful Cayman Islands.
Performing Arts has been a part of my life from a very young age. Having been a part of competitions in Jamaica through the National JCDC (Jamaica Cultural Development Commission) having on various medals and prizes through competing in music and drama.
His professional training came through the Cathy Levy's Little People and Teen Players Club 1992-1996, being trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Folk and Traditional Dance, Acting, Mime, Puppetry, Sign Language, and Vocal Techniques. This laid the groundwork for pursuing a professional career in the arts.
In 1996-1997, he joined the ASHE Caribbean Performing Arts Ensemble and continued training full time in the arts, touring the Caribbean and America, performing, teaching and mentoring prospective students in the arts.
This led to entering the Hospitality Industry to offer his skills in Entertainment and Animation/ Activities from 1997-present, having matriculated to being Entertainment Supervisor and Manager for several 5-star resorts on the Island, inclusive of Sandals, Grand Lido, and Secrets Resorts and Spa.
Antonio's ambition led him to the Edna Manley College of Visual and Performing Arts 2000-2005, from which he matriculated with a DIPLOMA in Dance Theatre and Production.
WCOPA has been an extension of Antonio's artistic experience, having been a Talent Scout, and working with National Director Lisa Hayles for 4 years, having scouted coached Francois Medley in 2015 who went on to become the Senior Grand Champion of the World!
Antonio Dennis works with the Wyndham Reef Resort Grand Cayman as the Activities Director.
Antonio Dennis now sets eyes on lending his talents in identifying and honing talent, for the world stage, to the island of Cayman, where he now resides.
